“Lets get Looney!” – The Looney Tunes are back in action (fully animated compared to 2003) and they’ve never been funnier. The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is a delightfully chaotic romp that captures the essence of everything fans love about this iconic franchise.

The story centers on Porky Pig and Daffy Duck (both hilariously voiced by the talented Eric Bauza), who grew up together on a farm. Their simple goal of saving their home – damaged by a meteor strike – quickly spirals into an intergalactic adventure when they uncover an alien invasion led by The Invader (Peter MacNicol). Joining the chaos is Petunia Pig (Candi Milo), who adds a touch of charm and wit to the team. Together, they must not only fix their roof but also save the entire planet.

The movie is packed with non-stop gags and visual jokes that feel true to the Looney Tunes spirit. Every scene brims with the anarchic humor and clever slapstick that made the original cartoons so timeless. As a Looney Tunes fan myself, this movie felt like a love letter to the classics, and it’s a strong reminder of how much life is still left in these beloved characters. Fingers crossed that The Day the Earth Blew Up sparks more Looney Tunes projects *cough* or a Coyote vs. Acme release *cough*.

The animation is absolutely gorgeous. In an era dominated by 3D animation, it’s a rare and wonderful treat to see 2D animation done with such care and detail. Synopsis

Porky and Daffy, the classic animated odd couple, turn into unlikely heroes when their antics at the local bubble gum factory uncover a secret alien mind control plot. Against all odds, the two are determined to save their town (and the world!)…that is if they don’t drive each other crazy in the process.
